About Copernicus

Copernicus is our lovable, Minature Schnauzer. As a member of our family, he wanted his own page on our website.

He asked if he could post a shout out to all his friends.

To: Bear, Roscoe, Beaut and all my friends at the Bone Adventure and in the BratDog pack:

"Woof, woof, arf. Arf, arf, woof, woof. Howl!"

Love, Copernicus

Copernicus is seven years old. He loves to go on walks Copernicus Graduationaround the neighborhood, chase cats and squirrels, as well as wrestle with Andrew. He goes to dog training often to keep up his manners and to make sure that he's a well behaved member of the family.

He does pretty well staying out of mischeif, but he does a good job of keeping us on our toes. Since he's an "only dog" he does tend to get spoiled with lots of hugs, belly scratching, and playtime. In dog training, he's learning off-leash commands, how to jump over things, and how to get along with other dogs in a big pack. Around the house, he loves playing tug with his toys. He's great at getting his toys out of the toy bin, however, he's not so good at putting them back.

He has really adjusted well to having his little sister around. He is not excited about being touched by her as she tends to grab on to his fur. However, she makes up for all of that by dropping food when she's eating. Copernicus does a great job on the "clean up crew."

As our fine furry son has aged, he has begun to spend more time lounging and sleeping. His favorite spot is on our pillows just after the sheets get changed.

He was not excited when we brought another little human to the pack, although he's taking the new pack member in stride as it means more walks around the neighborhood.
